Ini Edo, the popular Nollywood actress is one of the best in the Nigerian film industry. Even though she has been around for decades, the “Shanty Town” actress remains relevant especially on Instagram. Her recent post on staying “happy” and making money (getting the bag) got quite a reaction not only from other celebrities but fans as well.
She wrote;
“I just want to stay happy and getting the bag and that’s on Periodt”
It is clear from the thespian’s post that she wants to live the soft life, who wouldn’t? Ini Edo is clearly living that as she has appears to be enjoy a life of comfort and little stress while the money keeps coming into her bank accounts.
Her friends/colleagues IK Ogbonna, Eve Esin, Jane Obi, Ebube Nwagbo, Rukky Sanda, Oge Okoye and Linda Osifo were among the Nollywood celebrities who reacted and showed Ini Edo love in the comment section of the post.

The fans were not left out as the reacted to not only the movie star’s caption, but her photos as well. In fact, one nkiruka_okeke_ described the thespian as “Beautiful made” while a certain itsvibesangel_ made it clear that Ini Edo is “So pretty”.
On her part, this adoring fan, oma_steph__ appeared to wish the Nollywood actress even more as she wrote: “You dont wish to be alive? I wish you life since you dint add that to your caption”.
It is clear that these fans are so interested in Ini Edo’s post on her need to stay happy and while also getting the bag (money).
After all, the thespian has a 2 year-old daughter, baby Light whom she pampers and wants the best for. In fact, mother and child recently returned to Nigeria after touring some of the exotic locations around the world.
About 3 weeks ago, Ini Edo shared some lovely photos of herself with her daughter. One official_yanki_p (PRINCESS UJUKA KALU) couldn’t help but comment that “Motherhood is a beautiful thing” while also sending her love to the actress.
Ini Edo also came under strong criticism from some fans who claimed that she had destroyed her body by going for surgical enhancement. However, a certain mimigirl4u was not having it from anyone who was body shaming the actress. The Instagrammer wrote in the comment section:
“I just opened the comment section to complement a mother and daughter and what i am seeing here is just plain disgusting. Coming from fellow women? Some of you low lives will kill to look like this when you get to her age.
“Some of you sh ithèads will k ìll to trade your broke miserable lives for hers. Like what the hell is wrong with some of you? People that can’t even talk to her face to face coming here to bodyshame her. Alot of you women wear padded skin tights just to boost your confidence when you’re out. You’ll come here to insult this woman.
“Well maybe go worry about your ugly bodies first! Maybe worry about looking this good and unproblematic when you grow old. This woman is soo unproblematic and is always out of the way. She doesn’t even care about what you lots with futile lives have to say about her.
“Yes it makes me angry seeing women tear down other women. We have to do better. You would never see men bodyshaming each other. Never! But here we are. Black women are the most hated people on earth yet black women tear each other the most. Well, y’all stay safe and worry about yourselves…but @iniedo you look soo good.
