Ruth Kadiri Ezerika is highly respected in the Nigerian movie industry. The popular Nollywood star, screenwriter and film producer recently took to her Instagram Stories to encourage her followers to normalize helping men. Although she didn’t give many reasons for this, it was clear that the “Hand In Hand” actress was sympathetic towards the overall plight of men trying to provide for their families and not always getting appreciated for it.
There have been instances of couples working, but it’s usually the man who, despite limited income, pays for the children’s school fees, electricity bills, house rent, and even squeezes out money to buy his partner gifts. But what do the men get in return?
Hence, Ruth Kadiri decided to encourage her followers to do all that they can to show love and appreciation towards men. Mind you, you can do this not only to your partner, but even a co-worker struggling to financially meet certain obligations.
Here’s Ruth Kadiri’s post below;
“Let’s normalize HELPING MEN! They need it more!
Some men stay a year without anyone giving them any gift! Must be hard been a man”.
Do you agree with the Nollywood actress? Why or why not?
Elsewhere, but still on Ruth Kadiri Ezerika, the mother-of-two recently shared her mantra to succeed in life. She wrote;
“I am RUTH KADIRI
I am AN ARIES WOMAN
I will SUCEED!”
