Samuel Dedetoku, popularly known as Sam Dede has added another year to his age today, November 30, 2022. The popular Nollywood actor and “Issakaba” star has already marked his birthday by dropping a special message on his Instagram page.
Sharing a photo, he wrote;
“Above the tidal waves of Shark-infested waters….. We rise. It’s another year added. Only forward is good enough.
Giving thanks to The Most High for a renewed Energy of life-force.
And through the Ancestors, He whispered…..
IT SHALL BE WELL.”
His fans also wished him well.

Sam Dede recently disclosed that the late Sammie Okposo was the one who did the ISSAKABA theme track. He wrote:
“Do you know that it was the very soulful SAMMIE OKPOSO who did that hair-raising theme song and soundtrack for us in that game changing movie, ISSAKABA???
“Yes, indeed. ISSAKABA OWE YAH….ISSAKABA OWE YAH Sammie was the voice behind many theme songs of Nollywood films back in those good old days.
“Exceptionally talented, respectful and good natured fellow…..Hmmm….. The microphone is switched off now…..
“But his soulful voice and good music remain with us. Rest well, brother. It’s a standing ovation”.
