Chika Ike has described herself as a very blessed woman. She stated this recently in a post which she shared on her Instagram page.
For someone who was rejected by her father when she was only a baby after her mum gave birth to a girl instead of a boy, it is pretty safe to say that Chika Ike has made a success out of her life – against all odds. Hence she stated clearly:
“Chikalicious is a very blessed woman! God is the greatest”.
According to the actress, she had a lot to prove that she was worth something after all the challenges and hardship that she faced earlier in her life.
The thespian is one of those NollywoodCelebs who have contributed to the growth of the Nigerian movie industry. Although she may not be as active as she used to be years ago, Chika still loves to act and is currently involved in quite a number of movie projects.

For those who don’t know, Chika Ike did a 2-year Diploma Program in Human Kinetics and Health Education in 2004 at the University of Lagos. Despite that, she later went back for a Degree in the same. Not done, the chocolate skin star also studied Film-making at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.
Years ago, she announced that she had gained admission for a Master of Business Administration degree at the prestigious Harvard University. However, many people doubted her claims but she was vindicated when the Ivy League institution ‘endorsed’ her book.
It’s understood that the Nigerian actress started to act in church plays when she was only a 5-year-old but broke into Nollywood in 2005. Chika also has her own production company, fashion line and a foundation that caters for homeless children.
The award-winning actress used to be married but it ended after being manhandled by her ex.
