Ini Edo has disclosed how she got her first movie role. In an interview shared on Instagram by teawithtaypod, the popular Nollywood actress said World Apart (2004) offered her the chance to build her career into what it is today.
However, at the time, the actress who was supposed to play the role was eventually cut off and to show that the movie could go on without her, Ini Edo was called in as replacement.
Ini Edo was told that the movie was “really intense” and that the executive producer insisted that she should be given the role.
The person who called the thespian told her that she was immature for the role but the executive producer had insisted on her taking it since there was already a search for someone who looks like the actress initially supposed to play the role.
Sensing this was a big opportunity to make it big after her waka-pass roles, Ini Edo prayed to God and accepted the job.
