Ebele Okaro has taken to her Instagram page to pose a serious question. The thespian noted that African mothers want their children to get married at the right time.
Although she didn’t give any age or suggest when exactly the “right time” is, many believe it should be in their twenties. Mind you, some African mothers want their daughters to at least have a degree, a job and be matured enough to be able to get into marriage.
Ebele Okaro is one of the greatest actresses in the Nigerian movie industry when it comes to playing “mummy roles”.
She shared a clip from one of her movies in which she’s seen trying angrily to get her daughter who is in her thirties, to get married.
The movie star wrote;
“African Mother’s want their daughters to settle down at the right time ..Can you please tell me when it is the right time. Waiting patiently for your response”.
