Nollywood star, Destiny Etiko, has once again stolen our hearts with an adorable revelation from one of her young fans. This talented actress recently shared a story that got a lot of reactions and circulated across the internet.
In a heart-melting post, Destiny Etiko reshared a picture of a little kid model named Candice, who made an endearing declaration. Candice has been persistently telling everyone, including her mum and teachers, that Destiny Etiko is her “second mum.” Now that’s some serious admiration!
According to Candice’s teacher, she can’t stop talking about her beloved “second mum,” even during class, which sometimes leads to adorable distractions. Destiny Etiko had to interact with her young fan, via the comment section of a post.
The affection didn’t stop there! When offered a gift by her uncle, Candice declined, saying, “THE ONLY THING I WANT IS TO SEE MY SECOND MUM @destinyetikoofficial.” How heartwarming is that?

“This’s almost one year Candice pleaded on seeing @destinyetikoofficial and since then, she never stopped disturbing me, even to an extent that her class teacher complained to me that sometimes she doesn’t concentrate in class, that she always tell her about her second mum this her second mum that.
“Her teacher told me that she’s disturbing and distracting other students in her classroom. When she came back from school that particular day, I had to warn her never to disturb her class teachers and students again. After a week I called her class teacher to know if she has if she has stopped, her class teacher said she’s still saying that. Even at home, at some point, I got tired of posting all her disturbances on online.
“We went to shop few things few days ago and she saw her uncle and he asked her to pick any toys of her choice because her birthday is in few days, she refused and turned the offer down. To my surprise, she said to him, THE ONLY THING I WANT IS TO SEE MY SECOND MUM @destinyetikoofficial . This got me speechless & emotional at the same time.”
Of course, Etiko couldn’t resist responding to the adorable declaration. She commented on Candice’s post with a loving message, promising to see her soon and expressing her deep affection.
It’s no wonder Destiny Etiko’s young fans adore her! The actress herself shared in an Instagram post that 60 percent of her fans are children.
