Nollywood actresses Destiny Etiko and Uju Okoli have cautioned Sarah Martins after she appeared to blame their colleague/producer of the movie that Junior Pope was going on set to shoot, Adanma Luke, for his death after he drowned Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
Clearly, there was a very costly mistake by not taking safety life jackets and yet, crossing such a danger river. However, Sarah Martins couldn’t control herself and took to her Instagram page to play the blame game.
She posted;
“Finally we lost him! Very nonsense low budget movie trying to raise local standards without providing the necessary amenities! Now we’ve lost a star, a father, a son, a brother, a husband and innocent crew members hustling to feed their families! Adanma Luck you do this one! “
Sarah further captioned the post;
“Kai!!!!
Jnr Pope is gone 💔💔💔💔💔
Who does that????
Adanma Luck you do this one!!😭😭😭😭”
It was then her colleagues hit the comment section to refrain Sarah from further damage.
Uju Okoli wrote: “Sarah SHUT UP for Christ sake….haba”.
Destiny Etiko commented: “There is time for everything Sara na haba… this is totally wrong 😑”.

mmabeauty_snow: “Wetin make Adanma Luke producer ..someone that cannot even act 😥😥Now we lost a legend”.
forbi90: “Instead of rushing him to the hospital to maintain his pulse they took him to the herbalist. Africans SHÀME!!!!!!!”
larrybee_essentials: “Stop blaming anything on people madam. God takes nd God gives”.
nrslovejike: “The truth is that even if he “survived “ with that prolonged hypoxia(brain deprived of oxygen) he wouldn’t have been his normal self again. In a civilised country, he would have been intubated and ventilated on high oxygen at the site of event. But see how lost a young champ due to carelessness from the producer to the rescuers 😢😢😢😢😢😢”.
queenclemzy: “This has nothing to do with Adana,the boat riders are the ones to go in for,having a boat without lifeguard or anything its all shade of wrong.
I wouldn’t have ever entered such.
They all would have said no and ask for safety first.”
winniefrancesdaniels2015: “For movie wey no go reach AMVCA this is very painful”.
isokenoodigie: “We lack accountability in this country . Sarah is speaking up to prevent future occurrence and here are some of you shutting her up . No health and safety measures were put in place by the film maker to help if such accidents happens . What a shame. This country and sentiment na 5 and 6”.
official_felicity_5050: “Sarah stop writing nonsense okay
U are an actress and one day u may produce 1 or 2 movies
Which one is low budget
Please stop writing rubbish”.
man_like_tommyvilla1: “Stop blaming her abeg you wan make depression kill her too ??”
chinazaokeke44: “Sarah just no get sense. That’s how she said mohbad would have been alive if the father had not rush to bury him. She then proceeded to compare this case with moh own. She failed to realize that in mohbads case, 2 different hospitals confirmed him dead, then the family called the father to come”.
gift_stunning: “Stop the blame game and call out….which one is low budget movie..u partake in a lot of them too..”
teenah_aesthetics: “So sense will not tell a matured man to use life jacket Abi”.
jamie_reginald: “In as much as I am pissed about this, my dear Sarah it’s not really unnecessary blaming the producer, a star’s life has been lost and that’s really sad and painful, but this death would have actually been avoided if they were all really careful so please let’s not blame anyone at all for this.”
