Junior Pope really had his colleague Nkechi Nweje wound up on the set of a Nollywood movie after jokingly telling her that her role required wearing a bikini and chilling by the poolside. The video of this hilarious moment was shared on the late actor’s Instagram page on January 15, 2024.
In the funny prank video, Junior Pope asks Nkechi Nweje if she is done with her scenes, but she tells her colleague that she was informed she has one more left. Pope pretends to check the script before informing his colleague that she has a bikini scene to do and it would be a poolside shoot.
The actress couldn’t hide her shock while making it clear that she would not wear the swimsuit. Pope then tells her that she was well-paid for her role and has to complete her remaining scene. It was then that Nkechi, visibly losing her cool, drops the script she was holding before going on to say that if she had been informed, nothing would have made her accept the role.
In fact, Nweje refused despite being teased she could pick up an award if she wore the bikini.
