A close look at Zubby Michael’s social media pages shows that he has not mourned Junior Pope publicly. Some of his fans have expressed their disappointment, and he is facing backlash, with some recalling that the “Eze Ndi Ala” was even Pope’s best man on his wedding day.
Several fans have since camped in the comment section of his Instagram page and have resorted to embarrassing Zubby.
In fact, his colleague Hannah Cyril had to defend Zubby Michael while making it clear that there were other ways to mourn other than on social media. She wrote:
“Y’all think the only way to mourn someone is by posting Rip with a sorrowful song right? Mtcheeww…😡”
Despite the Nollywood star’s reasoning which is acceptable and normal, some fans wondered why Zubby and Junior Pope were not following each other on Instagram.

However, some of Zubby’s supporters were not having any of it. They immediately came for the commenter:

There were those who were totally convinced that Zubby Michael had no sympathy for Junior Pope’s demise.

Waiting be God pass them”.
