Uche Jombo has been in the Nigerian movie industry for so many years. In terms of career and life, it is pretty safe to say she has experience. In a recent tweet, the popular Nollywood actress advised people to be kind to others as they could be walking around with problems, sicknesses and anxieties. Before we proceed any further, do you think it is possible for people to show kindness to others more often if it isn’t publicly or on social media?
She wrote;
“People are walking around with their problems, sicknesses and anxieties …. It’s never written on their faces…. Be kind.”
Anyway, like Uche Jombo stated, the problems people are facing daily isn’t written on their faces. However, in some instances, not everyone can hide it. Their sicknesses and anxieties are indeed written all over with tell-tale signs even in the way they talk or walk.
Social media has made people look like they are living the good life. Why would anyone want to share their problems with others, in the first place? Such a person will become the topic of discussion among their friends and relatives without even any help being rendered.
Some of the Nollywood star’s fans reacted.
@BlessingEf86465: “Truly spoken Ma”.
@Omoronke5: “Most of it even family and friends don’t know about. You just want to wake up every day and smile like everything is okay.”
Another Twitter user reacted with a lot of humour dragging struggling Premier League club side, Chelsea into it. The @TheLoneWolfv wrote: “If you want to talk to Chelsea fans talk to them directly, don’t go through the corners”.
@MishaelBarnabas: “You make so much sense with this post…I wish we all learn…. Thank you @uchejombo”.
@Aalliiccee10: “Be kind and be careful. Some are just a ticking time boom waiting to explode.”
Elsewhere, Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has reacted to the burial arrangements of the Junior Pope, who tragically lost his life on April 10 after the boat he was in alongside other actors and crew members capsized on the River Niger during a movie shoot. Pope alongside four crew members met their untimely demise after they drowned.
While reacting to his burial schedule, Rita Edochie wrote;
“So last last you will enter the grave on the 17th of May, this life sef. What a world.
A very vibrant young son of mine is now the one a funeral arrangement is being made on his behalf. Junior Pope na so?
For some days, I have been trying to keep my mind off you. I have been trying not to imagine that you are no longer here, but this poster just awakened the vacuum in my heart. But it is well.
Since this is how God wants it, there is no problem. Who am I to question him? Ya di ba. Jee ije gi nke oma nna. We will surely meet again.
You have become a flying angel. Please watch over your entire family, and may affliction not rise again the second time. It is well with your great soul. Rest in power.”
