Ruth Kadiri Ezerika has taken to her Instagram Stories to ask fans to stop trolling celebrities because they are human, feel pain and even have panic attacks.
The internet has been buzzing with tension, largely fueled by fans. There’s an ongoing feud between Wizkid and his colleagues Davido and Don Jazzy. However, the most intense conflict at the moment is happening within the Asaba side of Nollywood.
Since the tragic passing of Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, old feuds have been revived by bitter rivals in the Nigerian movie industry. Angela Okorie has been boldly calling out names of her colleagues whom she believes are holding on to the progress of others either through people being blacklisted or even through witchcraft.
Angela publicly called out Zubby Michael, accusing him of not mourning Junior Pope publicly, despite their close friendship at a time and Zubby being Junior Pope’s best man at his wedding. The fans didn’t make things easier as the mounted pressure on the actor to do the needful. Eventually, he did. Sharing a photo of his one time buddy, he wrote: “It’s difficult to say r I p Nwanne”.
That’s when all hell broke loose!
Angela Okorie lashed out and called Zubby Michael out, claiming he used dark powers to hinder people’s progress through giving them demonic money and tying their destinies to hinder them from excelling. Sometimes, this would make people fall sick, or even die. She called her colleague “evil”.
It wasn’t long after that she shocked Nigerians when she accused the beloved Mercy Johnson Okojie of witchcraft, which she allegedly inherited from her mother. Angela claimed her colleague had committed so much evil in the Nigerian movie industry.
Although some Nollywood celebrities have joined the fight with some taking sides, Ruth Kadiri has taken a different approach.
The movie star wants fans to stop hurting others over their favorites. She called on them to show empathy and be more humane in writing comments.
According to Ruth Kadiri, many celebrities have BP issues due to this.
