Liz Benson is among the most admired and respected veteran stars in Nollywood. It’s a great privilege to work with someone of her stature in the Nigerian film industry. She is currently on set the 2024 Nigerian movie, “A Mother’s Son” and when she showed up, there was excitement especially when her younger colleagues, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Georgina Ibeh and Mike Godson got to meet the “Diamond Ring” star.
In the video, the Nollywood stars are seen rushing towards Liz Benson the moment she stepped in where they were all gathered. It was then that Mercy Johnson and Georgina Ibeh quickly rushed towards the iconic actress and knelt down to greet her in a show of respect. Not long after, Mike Godson came to greet Liz and gave a gentle bow.
When Mike shared the post on his page, he described his feeling on set as “an Iconic experience filming” A Mother’s Son with the legendary Liz-Benson. He then stated clearly that it is “always a delight to work with Mercy Johnson Okojie and other brilliant actors” including Georgina Ibeh.
