LizzyGold Onuwaje might have quite an amount of money that she has made from working hard in the Nigerian movie industry. However, the popular Nollywood actress is not one of those to find humour when her kids do wrong. She recently took to her Instagram page to share a video of her son being punished after he broke two of her security lights. Not done, he also used a knife to tear the chair upstairs.
Some who don’t understand the way things work in Africa will think she is being too hard on her boy. However, there’s the saying, “spare the rod and spoil the child” which simply means children need to be physically punished when they do something wrong to ensure that their personal development will not turn out for the worse. This applies greatly in this part of the world as parents have embraced this to discipline their kids.
In the video, the mischievous son was seen kneeling down while lifting up what appears to be a throw pillow above his head. The thespian wrote:
“This boy broke two of my security lights… used knife and tore the chair upstairs.. … this boy… I will deal with you today .. @rexandreall”.
