Idia Aisen has disclosed that she has overcome being shy having grown up so sheltered. The Nigerian actress has successfully come out of her shell and has been able to SHINE in a very competitive Nigerian movie industry.
The “Nneka the Pretty Serpent (2020)” star also made it clear that those people who choose the path of staying quiet on the sidelines don’t really progress in life.
She also disclosed her love for dark roles and her favourite movie.
The thespian wrote;
“Quiet stays on the sidelines. quiet doesn’t get fed, quiet is forgotten, quiet gets left in the corner and quiet has to wait for everyone else to get a little quieter, so that quiet can speak!…,
“Do not stay quiet, but don’t mistake speaking up for noise! I prefer dark roles. My favorite movie is the Joker with Joaquin Phoenix.
“I grew up so sheltered and shy, and I watched people always want to “exercise” their noise and presence over me…the truth is that people treat you different when they want something or think you’re ‘useful’…..
“Through movies and media I’ve been able to come out of my shell AND SHINE (if I can say so myself!) I want to be on top, not so everyone can see me but so that I can see the whole world.
“It’s almost two years and I’ve worked with 70% of people on my list! I have 4 roles coming to you—the Queen Bee, the over ambitious Politician, me in the trenches and the only way I can describe her, Zola!! Get ready for 2023 with #idiaaisien #babysteps #moviestar #nollywood #actor #actress”
